Music Styles of the 20th Century - Literacy

This week for literacy we had a music theme so all of our literacy work was based on music. I learnt a lot more about music then I knew before, for example I learnt that Elvis Presley was the first person to start 'Rock 'n' Roll' music. We made a slideshow about the 'Music styles of the 20th century', we had to make three posters about three different music genres so I decided to do Hiphop, country and pop music. Here is my slideshow about music:

Maui And The Giant fish - Angel

During wednesday, we had to make an animation recreating one of the many Maui stories, here are some examples of a few Maui stories, Maui and the sun and Maui and the giant fish. I decided to try and re-create the 'Maui and the giant fish story', here it is:

I don't think it turned out too bad, except for the fact that I had to use a baby moana picture instead of Maui.

"Food, Glorious Food!" - Literacy

This week my class, and a few other classes have been learning about food (As you can probably tell by the title). We have been learning about many different kinds of food such as: Pasta, potato chips ect. I have made this 'New Bluebird Chip Flavour' google doc which we have to try to create a new bluebird chip flavour , so here it is.

It was fun making it, after I finally thought of a new flavour, it was pretty easy. It was also really fun thinking of the script for the Bluebird Chip ad.

How does is work - Bike

Recently, me and my writing class has been working on explanation's which explain how modern day objects work. We are explaining how it works and how to use the object chosen, we had to choice of a wheelbarrow, a Lego brick, a bike, scooter, bow and arrow and a seesaw. I chose to do a bike cause I
thought it would have more to explain!.

How does it work? - Bike
A bike is a very well known transportation device that is used globally among all countries,
a bike is used to get people across to where their destination is.
Image result for Bike diagram

“How do you use it”?: Firstly, to use the bike, you have to sit on the seat that is shown at the top
of the bike, putting each leg on each side of the bike and then place your hands around the handles
which are shown in front of the seat.

Secondly, with one foot on either side of the bike you can put each foot on a pedal which you can push
one at a time to successfully ride a bike, make sure that only one pedal is going up each time you push
a pedal.

Thirdly:  before you start peddaling make sure to put on a helmet for extra protection to make sure you
don’t get injured while enjoying a ride on a bike.

Lastly: You can now successfully ride a bike with proper protection so you don’t get injured.

I hope you enjoyed this post!, please leave a comment on how I can improve and what instruction
was most helpful. Thank you for reading!.
